Biography
Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Alexandra Finaldi earned her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, where she studied political science, journalism, and mass communication. After graduating, Alexandra spent two years in Denver, Colorado working on two congressional campaigns and serving in the U.S. House of Representatives. In March 2024, she returned to Kenosha to continue her work on congressional campaigns and began teaching at the Kenosha Unified School District. She joined the Carthage staff in 2025.

Main responsibilities at Carthage
Alexandra works closely with colleagues across the College to develop and implement key fundraising strategies. She also works with alumni, parents, and friends to strengthen the College’s network and secure resources.
Favorite thing about working at Carthage
“My favorite thing about Carthage is how at home it feels. Kenosha is known to be a big, small town; Carthage feels the same way, and I love it.”

Alexandra enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family outside of work.
