Center for Children’s Literature

The Center for Children’s Literature at Carthage College supports teaching and learning related to children’s and young adult literature. It provides educational services based on the collection to students, educators, librarians, and parents.

The center, located on the upper level of Carthage’s Hedberg Library, has more than 16,000 recent children’s and young adult titles for kindergarten through high school. 

The center is dedicated to excellence in teaching with quality literature for children and young adults, recognizing the importance of multicultural and international resources for learning about the world.
